UEFA Nations League draw: Holder Portugal faces France, Spain gets Germany

The draw for the second edition of the UEFA Nations League took place in Amsterdam on Tuesday, setting up some fascinating ties to be contested in September, October, and November.

When the league phase is complete, the finals will conclude the competition in June 2021.

Portugal, which won the inaugural edition of the Nations League last June, was pitted against France in a rematch of the Euro 2016 final. The 2018 World Cup finalists will also lock horns in that same group, as the reigning champion of that tournament, France, takes on Croatia.

Another standout duel awaits in Group A4, where Spain faces Germany.

Here is the Nations League draw in full.
