A pair of pitch invaders aren’t facing sanctions in Mexico. In fact, one of them was rewarded with a new home.
In a heartwarming scene, a dog interrupted Club Pachuca’s 1-0 victory over Chiapas in Liga MX on Saturday, running all over the pitch in the 67th minute before being apprehended by staff. Things then took a turn for the bizarre, as a white cat invaded the field in the 85th minute before darting behind one of the advertisement boards at Estadio Hidalgo.
After the final whistle, Pachuca published a photo of the dog relaxing in Los Tuzos’ dressing room.

Echame el Perro, a Latin American community for dog lovers, inquired about the canine Monday, to which Pachuca responded: “Before becoming famous, a woman offered to take care of it, and to those who wanted to adopt, do it with another that needs it.”
@EchameelPerro así es, antes de ser famoso una señora se ofreció a cuidarlo, y a los que querían adoptar háganlo con algún otro que necesite

As for the cat, Pachuca was oblivious to its whereabouts, saying: “We think it remained living in the stadium, even though we haven’t seen it again. We’ll let you know if we see it.”
@EchameelPerro pensamos que se quedó a vivir en el estadio, aunque no lo hemos vuelto a ver, si lo encontramos les avisamos ??????
